Tikka Massala met Halloumi
Ingredients
Directions
- Prepare the rice and/or nan to instructions
 - Cut the onions, halloumi, garlic, red pepper and ginger
 - Heat some oil in a pan, and fry the onions
 - Add garlic, ginger and chili
 - Add spices and simmer for a few minutes
 - Add tomato puree, chopped tomatoes
 - Add the cinnamon stick, cardemom pods and creme fraiche and let simmer
 - In a separate pan, fry the halloumi in oil until golden brown, and add to the sauce
 - In a dry pan, roast the shaved almonds. Add half to the sauce, save other half for garnish
 - Serve with rice/nan and garnish with coriander and shaved almonds
